Jones had a team-high 18 points and led all players with 13 rebounds in the victory for the West Virginia alumni squad, which nearly squandered a nine-point lead during the Elam Ending before sending Mountaineer fans into a frenzy following Jones’ game-winning layup. Fletcher Magee, the NCAA’s all-time leader in three-pointers, tallied a game-high 21 points, going 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, in the losing effort for the Wofford alumni team.
