(5) Category 5 vs (6) Blue Collar U, 7p EDT, ESPN

This is a matchup of two alumni teams that have made quite the impression in their first year in TBT. Blue Collar U is a University of Buffalo alumni squad that looks right at home in its first summer in TBT. Wes Clark ended the first two games with three pointers and is averaging a team-high 21 points per game. Category 5 has relied on a stingy defense and the offense of Davon Reed (13 ppg) to win its first two TBT contests.

(1) Carmen’s Crew vs (5) The Money Team, 9p EDT, ESPN

Carmen’s Crew will be playing in front of a raucous home crowd, while The Money Team will try to advance to its first-ever Round of 8. Just as they did during Carmen’s Crew’s TBT title run in 2019, former Buckeyes David Lighty and William Buford will lead the way offensively for the Ohio State alumni squad. Aaron Craft put his signature stingy defense on display. The Money Team is loaded with strong guard play. Point guard Jordon Crawford and shooting guard Jeff Ledbetter are TBT veterans who know how to win in this tournament.
