Jones took a pass from Jermaine Haley and sent the West Virginia alumni squad on to its first-ever TBT quarterfinal appearance. Jones and Jamel Morris were the only two Best Virginia players to reach double figures, scoring 10 points apiece. Jaysean Paige had eight points and a game-high 10 rebounds in the win for Best Virginia, which nearly blew a six-point Elam Ending lead before rallying to win in front of their home fans.
