Chris Warren scored 21 of his game-high 24 points in the second half, and Florida TNT ran away from the Ft. Wayne Champs late to win, 87-78. Warren went 6-for-12 from behind the arc for Florida TNT, which looks to repeat its deep run last summer which ended with a heartbreaking semi-final loss to Boeheim’s Army. Keith Clanton went 11-for-12 from the field and finished with 22 points in the win for the team representing the Sunshine State. Tayler Persons, whose 26 points paced the Champs past Nasty Nati in Round 1, rebounded from a slow start to finish with a team-high 16 points in the losing effort for the Ft. Wayne Champs, who scored 14 points in the first three minutes of the second half but were undone by an 11-0 Florida TNT run late in the third quarter.
