TBT veteran Marcus Hall led Heartfire with 16 points, and DeAndre Liggins contributed 14 points of his own to lead Heartfire past Competitive Choice, 84-75. Hall, who carried Team Colorado to the 2016 title game and played a critical role in Team 23’s run to the championship game last summer, made six of his nine field goal attempts from inside the three-point line. Shaquille Burrell scored 21 points in the losing effort for Competitive Choice, which kept the game close until a 12-0 Heartfire run to open the fourth quarter essentially sealed the win for the top seed.
