Jordan Stevens took a pass from Brandon Jefferson and hit a game-winning three-pointer to send Bleed Green on to Round 2 following a 79-78 victory over Eberlein Drive. Jefferson grabbed his own rebound off a missed three-pointer and fed Stevens, who finished with 14 points in the win for the University of North Texas alumni squad, which won its TBT debut. Shannon Shorter’s game-high 20 points paced the offense for Bleed Green, which came back from a 12-point deficit. Omari Spellman (11 points, 10 rebounds) led the way for Eberlein Drive, an original TBT team from back in 2014 which was undone by making just 10 of its 34 three-point attempts.
