Jimmy joins brother Buddy Boeheim on Roster for Syracuse’s Matchup with Seton Hall July 21-24

Boeheim’s Army, the Syracuse alumni team competing in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) this summer, today announced the roster addition of Jimmy Boeheim.

Boeheim joins Wesley Johnson, Elijah Hughes and Buddy Boeheim as the four players currently announced on Boeheim’s Army’s roster. More players will be announced in the coming weeks.

Jimmy Boeheim will play in his fourth TBT this summer, making appearances for Boeheim’s Army in 2022, 2023, and 2025. 

Jimmy Boeheim spent one year at Syracuse (2021-22) after spending the first three years of his college career at Cornell. Jimmy averaged 13.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game at Syracuse, starting all 33 games alongside his brother, Buddy. 

Boeheim spent the 2025-26 season with U.D. Oliveirense in Portugal.

Boeheim’s Army will take on Hall In, the Seton Hall alumni team, in a first round best-of-three series.

As part of the best-of-three series, both teams will have a chance to host at least one home game. The first game of the series will take place at Seton Hall’s Walsh Gymnasium Tuesday, July 21, at 7 pm ET, and will be televised live on FS1. Game two will be played at Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse Thursday, July 23, at 7 pm ET and will be televised live on FS2. 

Game three (if necessary) will be played in Syracuse on Friday, July 24, at 7 pm ET and will be televised live on FS2.
