Delroy James, who guided his squad to Round 3 last summer, has been solid again this year for Americana for Autism and has averaged a team-high 15.5 points per game. Darryl Monroe’s 10 rebounds per game lead all remaining players. HBCUnited upset top-seeded YGC in Round 2 to earn its spot in the regional title game. Malique Trent, whose game-winning three-pointer downed Skip To My Lou in the opening round, tallied a team-high 16 points in the victory over YGC.
