The Gotham City Bockers are a New York-rooted basketball organization founded by Philip B. McDonald, M.D., and built on the principles of community, positivity, and purpose. Inspired by the rich history of New York basketball and the passion of one of the sport’s most dedicated fan bases, the Bockers proudly represent the culture, pride, and resilience that have made the city a basketball capital.

More than just a team, the Bockers embody the energy, diversity, and competitive spirit that define New York sports.

This summer, Gotham City will travel to Las Vegas to compete in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), taking on some of the best teams in the world for the tournament’s $2 million winner-take-all championship prize. As New York celebrates a championship season, the Bockers are looking to continue that momentum and bring a second major basketball title home to the city, adding another chapter to New York’s storied basketball legacy.
